Paper Craft & Watch Mechanism | Ages 9–14 Duration: 3 hours 📍 Picasso campus - 451 South Road Bentleigh All materials and art smocks are provided. 🧸 FOR KIDS What if a tiny forest clock could talk? Deep between the mushrooms and flowers, there’s a magical clock that whispers, “Tick tock… time for adventure!” But one day, the clock suddenly stops, and the whole forest becomes quiet. The mushrooms need your help to bring the ticking magic back again. 🍄✨ In this workshop, you will design and decorate your very own working clock using colourful paper craft, playful patterns, and a real clock mechanism. There’ll be silly mushrooms, dancing flowers, bright colours, and lots of imagination as you create a clock that feels straight out of a storybook. And the best part? You can take it home and hang it in your room like a real little piece of magic. 🌿 FOR PARENTS This workshop is designed to gently encourage creative thinking while giving children the joy of making something meaningful with their own hands. At this age, children love projects that feel “real,” and creating a functioning clock helps build confidence, patience, and pride in their work. Throughout the session, students will be guided by our professional artist-teachers as they explore colour, shape, storytelling, and simple construction techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment. The hands-on process also encourages focus and problem-solving in a way that feels playful rather than pressured. Children will leave not only with a charming handmade room decoration, but also with the excitement of knowing, “I made this myself.” All materials and art smocks are included for a comfortable and mess-free experience.
