I love teaching because art is more than pictures. It’s confidence, curiosity, problem-solving, and learning to trust your own ideas. I enjoy helping students feel brave enough to try, make a mess, laugh at mistakes, and discover what makes their work uniquely theirs.
Teaching art means I get to grow alongside my students — and that’s pretty magical.

Also, I help parents to sort our enrolment questions, make-up classes and bookings.

I teach because I believe art grows from curiosity and courage. Sketching is where ideas begin — where thinking becomes visible and mistakes turn into discoveries.

With teens, I also love guiding the folio journey: helping students shape their ideas, refine their skills, and build a body of work that truly represents who they are as artists. A strong folio isn’t just about technique — it’s about confidence, direction, and finding your own visual voice.

Teaching art means I get to grow alongside my students. I’m learning just as much as they are, every time we pick up a pencil or start a new project. That shared sense of discovery is what keeps it exciting — and a little bit magical.

I love creating a cozy, welcoming space where students feel safe to explore their ideas and express who they are. I enjoy blending painting, digital art, and hands-on craft, and I bring that mix into the classroom so students can experiment with colour, texture, and storytelling in their own way.

I guide students with thoughtful questions rather than perfect examples, helping them build confidence, trust their instincts, and discover their unique creative voice. What I hope to give my students is more than technical skills — I want art to become a place they can return to, a space for reflection, imagination, and self-belief as they grow.

I love showing children that art is a place where confidence can quietly grow. I discovered this myself years ago at Art Academica, where a teacher believed in me enough to help me take art seriously — and I carry that feeling into every class I teach.

I work with watercolour, gouache, and love building tiny worlds from recycled materials, turning unwanted things into small treasures. In my lessons, everything becomes a story. Colours meet for the first time, lines try to find their way home, pencils learn to be gentle. 

What I hope to give your child is belief — belief that their ideas matter, that creativity has no limits, and that they are capable of truly wonderful things.

I love art because it lets ideas escape from your head and become something real. I realised this when I was first asked to create a custom illustration for someone — helping another person see their imagination come to life was incredibly powerful, and it’s a feeling I now bring into the classroom.

In my classes, I create alongside the students. We try things together, get excited together, and break complex ideas into simple, manageable steps.

What I hope to give your child is curiosity, joy, and confidence. Curiosity to ask why and how. Joy in the process of making. And the understanding that a “bad” drawing is not a failure — it’s a sign their artistic eye is growing. Art should feel bright, playful, and full of possibility, just like summer.

​In my classes, I encourage students to slow down, observe, and think carefully about their ideas. I love sketching with simple tools like a ballpoint pen — it teaches intention, confidence, and commitment to every line. I bring that same mindset into teaching, helping students trust their choices and grow brave with their imagination.

What I enjoy most is listening to students — their thoughts, curiosities, and ideas about the world. My goal is for children to leave class seeing the world differently, knowing that even the simplest idea can become something exciting.
