Teach Art Where Art Is Truly Lived
At Art Academica, teaching is not a side job.
It’s a shared studio practice, a conversation, a quiet moment when a student suddenly believes in their own hand.
We are always open to meeting artists who feel the pull to teach — not as entertainers, not as supervisors, but as mentors who want to pass on real artistic thinking.
If you are an artist who loves process, curiosity, and growth, you may belong here.
Who We’re Looking For
We work with artists who:
-
Practice art themselves (any medium: drawing, painting, illustration, design, sculpture, mixed media)
-
Enjoy guiding children or teenagers through creative challenges
-
Care about ideas, not just outcomes
-
Are patient, warm, and quietly confident
-
Want to teach in a studio that respects both art and artists(small and big)
You don’t need to be loud.
You don’t need to be “perfect.”
You do need to care.
What Teaching at Art Academica Feels Like
Many artists come to us tired of:
-
Teaching without structure
-
Being rushed from activity to activity
-
Working in spaces that value speed over depth
-
Feeling like art is treated as childcare, not culture
Here, teaching means:
-
Small groups (8–10 students)
-
Thoughtfully designed programs
-
All materials provided
-
Space to teach skills, thinking, and confidence
-
A calm, respectful studio environment
You teach. We take care of the rest.
Support & Growth
We don’t throw teachers into a room and hope for the best.
You’ll receive:
-
Program guidance before each term
-
Clear lesson structures with room for personal style
-
Paid training and prep time
-
Ongoing support from experienced artist-teachers
-
Opportunities to grow into mentoring, portfolio guidance, or exhibition work
All of our teachers are practicing artists who value stability without giving up their creative identity.
