β¨ **TERM 4 / 2026 ENROLMENTS ARE OPEN!** β¨ **Kids 9β14 years | 10-Week Creative Adventure** π¬ **Theme: The Magic of Movies** π¨ **Focus: Storytelling Through Art** Our final term of the year is always magical! β¨ As Christmas approaches, our studio transforms into a creative movie production house where students become **concept artists, designers, painters, and visual storytellers**. Students will develop their own imaginative worlds while learning techniques used in **animation, fantasy illustration, and concept art**. π **ART HISTORY β The Magic of Movies & Imagination** How did movies begin? How were magical creatures and fantasy worlds created before computers? Students will explore cinema, animation, visual effects, and concept art while discovering how artists transform imagination into believable worlds. βοΈ **DRAWING β Floating Kingdoms: Castles in the Sky** Using pencils, liners, and **glow-in-the-dark markers**, students will design floating islands, castles, bridges, waterfalls, and clouds. Theyβll explore composition, perspective, lighting, and storytelling to create a fantasy movie scene. π¨ **PAINTING β Dragonsβ Kingdom** Students will create a large acrylic fantasy landscape where dragons soar above mountains, castles, forests, and glowing skies. The focus will be on **atmosphere, colour harmony, depth, and scale** to create a cinematic painting. 𧡠**CRAFT β Find a Gnome** To finish the year, students will sculpt their own festive gnome using **air-dry clay**, developing sculpting skills and imagination while creating a charming Christmas keepsake. π π **ANNUAL ART EXHIBITION** At the end of November, students will have the opportunity to exhibit a selected artwork at our **Annual Art Academica Exhibition**, celebrating their creativity and artistic growth with family and friends. Participating students will also receive a certificate. β¨ π **This term students will learn to:** β Design believable fantasy worlds β Create artwork that tells a story β Build strong cinematic compositions β Explore colour, light, atmosphere & mood β Think like concept artists and illustrators π **TERM DATES** **5 October β 12 December 2026 | 10 weeks** Whether your child dreams of fantasy worlds, dragons, or exploring **animation, illustration, games, or film**, Term 4 is the perfect opportunity to discover the magic behind the movies. β¨ **Lightsβ¦ Cameraβ¦ Create!** π¬π¨π

Cancellation Policy
No more than TWO make-up classes are allowed per school term.Β Make-up class must be scheduled in advance and are limited to existing class times only. Make-up class is subject to availability of slots and classes.Β Make-up class is not transferable to the next term. Make up lessons can't be used as a credit for the next school holiday program. School is closed on the public holidays. If class comes on the public holiday, one of the make-up classes can be used to cover it if you want to catch up the program.
