π Term 3 / 2026 enrolments are open! Kids 9β14 years old β’ 10 week creative journey β½ Theme: SPORT! β¨ Learning focus: How to show movement in art Ole Ole Oleeeee! πβ½ This term our older students will explore the powerful connection between art, action and movement. From Olympic posters and football mascots to dramatic sport photography and dynamic paintings, students will discover how artists capture speed, energy and emotion inside still images. How do artists make a figure look like itβs running? How can composition create tension and excitement? How can colour and line make an artwork feel alive? This term combines imagination with stronger observational skills and artistic structure, helping students think like young designers and visual storytellers. π Art History (Week 1) We will discover artists who painted movement, sport and action, and see how they captured energy inside their artworks. β Drawing Project (Markers & Pencils) Students will design their own Olympic Games mascots and create a team of expressive sport characters inspired by famous competitions, teams and world sporting events. π¨ Painting Project (Oil Painting on Canvas) This term students will work from real still life set-ups in the studio, creating sport-themed oil paintings on canvas. Through observation, they will study light, shadow, texture and composition while learning how professional artists build realistic artworks from life. 𧡠Craft Project (Papier-mΓ’chΓ©) Students will design and build a decorative logo of their favourite sport team using papier-mΓ’chΓ© techniques β combining sculpture, graphic design and personal creativity. π Why sport? Because movement helps young artists learn: β dynamic composition β observation and proportion β storytelling through poses and action β how colour and structure create emotion and energy From the Olympics and FIFA World Cup to the Matildas, basketball legends and imagined future sports, this term invites students to explore movement not just as athletes β but as artists. π Term dates 13 July β 20 September 2026 10 weeks β¨ No public holidays this term β uninterrupted creative learning all the way through. π Enrol now and let creativity move! β½ππΎπ¨

Cancellation Policy
No more than TWO make-up classes are allowed per school term.Β Make-up class must be scheduled in advance and are limited to existing class times only. Make-up class is subject to availability of slots and classes.Β Make-up class is not transferable to the next term. Make up lessons can't be used as a credit for the next school holiday program. School is closed on the public holidays. If class comes on the public holiday, one of the make-up classes can be used to cover it if you want to catch up the program.
