🌟 Term 2 / 2026 enrolments are open Kids 5–9 years old • 10 week creative adventure 🏙 theme: Melbourne 🌈 learning focus: the rainbow and colour This term our youngest artists will explore the city of Melbourne through colour, imagination and playful discovery. Cities are full of interesting shapes, bright lights and wonderful places. Together we will look at famous Melbourne landmarks and turn them into colourful artworks, learning how artists use colour and simple shapes to build exciting pictures. 📚 art history (week 1) We will discover artists who painted and drew Melbourne and see how they captured the feeling of the city. ✏ drawing project (pencil) Students will draw famous Melbourne buildings — the Art Centre spire, the Royal Exhibition Building, city shops and the Eureka Tower — arranging them into a colourful rainbow composition. 🎨 painting project (acrylic & acrylic markers) We will paint the joyful world of Luna Park using bright “macaron” colours, playful shapes and bold lines. 🌙 imagination drawing What does Melbourne look like at night? Students will draw a magical night scene of the city filled with glowing windows, colourful lights and starry skies. 🧵 craft project Students will discover the Japanese craft Kinusaiga and create a colourful beach scene using pieces of fabric. 🌈 why the rainbow? Cancellation Policy
No more than TWO make-up classes are allowed per school term. Make-up class must be scheduled in advance and are limited to existing class times only. Make-up class is subject to availability of slots and classes. Make-up class is not transferable to the next term. Make up lessons can't be used as a credit for the next school holiday program. School is closed on the public holidays. If class comes on the public holiday, one of the make-up classes can be used to cover it if you want to catch up the program.
