Two young explorers have wondered about it for long enough. One day, curiosity wins. They climb up, look over the edge… and discover something they never expected. But what they find is up to you. In Over the Garden Wall, you’ll design and build your own illustrated diorama, transforming a simple idea into a small three-dimensional world. Think about your characters, their surroundings, the atmosphere and the story unfolding within your scene. Maybe there’s a mysterious forest beyond the wall. Perhaps a strange little town. Or maybe they discover someone who has been waiting to meet them all along. You’ll explore illustration, storytelling and creative thinking, learning how artists use characters, environments and visual details to make an imagined world feel believable. There’s no single ending to this story — you get to create it. 👨‍👩‍👧 FOR PARENTS At ages 9–14, students are ready to move beyond simply following an example. This workshop encourages them to develop an idea, make creative choices and turn their imagination into something tangible. Watch your child’s imagination come alive in three dimensions!
