But here’s the question… Is he arriving late to the party? Is the gift for his best underwater friend? Or is it secretly HIS birthday? In this workshop, we’ll paint Ottis on real canvas using acrylic paints — mixing the perfect pink for his squishy tentacles and a bold, glowing orange for his present. We’ll learn how to make him look extra happy, cheeky, or proudly excited. Did you know octopuses have three hearts? That means Ottis loves birthdays three times more than everyone else. Bring your imagination. Children will focus on colour mixing — creating vibrant pinks, balancing warm oranges, and understanding contrast within a composition. Painting on canvas strengthens brush control, layering skills, and spatial awareness. Most importantly, this workshop centres around building a “fun personage.” Children learn how posture, expression, and colour communicate emotion — an essential foundation for expressive art. For busy parents, this session offers something equally valuable: two focused hours where children are fully engaged in a guided creative process under professional supervision at our Monet campus.
