🌍✨ My Planet – My World Oil Pastel on Coloured Paper | Ages 5–9 Duration: 2 Hours 📍 Location: Art Academica – Monet Campus 753 Centre Road, Bentleigh East, Melbourne All materials and art smocks are provided. 🧸 FOR KIDS What would your own little planet look like floating in space? Maybe it has glowing moons? winding rivers? tiny houses? or even rocket ships zooming through the stars. In this exciting workshop, you will use vibrant oil pastels on coloured paper to create a magical world full of imagination and adventure. We’ll explore bright colours, swirling skies, and fun textures while designing a giant planet that tells a story of discovery and wonder. Every artwork will become a colourful universe created completely by you. 🎨 FOR PARENTS This warm and imaginative workshop invites young children to slow down, explore colour, and enjoy the simple joy of creating with oil pastels. As they blend soft colours, experiment with contrast, and build their own magical little “world". Designed especially for young learners, the session gently encourages creative confidence, self-expression, and independent thinking in a calm and nurturing environment. During the busy school holidays, it can be difficult finding meaningful screen-free activities that truly hold a child’s attention. This workshop offers children a peaceful space to focus, imagine, and create freely while being guided by our caring artist-teachers while learning foundational oil pastel techniques in a warm and supportive environment.
