Soft mint gelato. Bright strawberries. Tiny colourful toppings. A striped wafer stick leaning gently to one side. You buy it immediately… but just as you’re about to take the first bite, you notice a tiny bear sitting on top of the scoop looking far too adorable to disturb. So now comes the real question: Do you eat it… or just stare at it forever? In this sculptural clay workshop, you will design miniature dessert worlds filled with personality, colour and detail. Using air-dry clay, you’ll create your imaginative ice cream and gelato sculptures topped with tiny animals, playful textures and decorative elements that feel somewhere between food design and fantasy art. 🎨 FOR PARENTS This workshop is designed for children 9-14 years old who want to develop their creative thinking through sculptural design, composition and hands-on problem-solving. For students aged 9–14, Working with air-dry clay helps students develop patience, concentration and attention to detail while also giving them the freedom to experiment and make independent creative decisions. Workshops like this help break the cycle of school holiday boredom by giving children something genuinely engaging to focus on. Instead of drifting back to screens or running out of ideas, students become fully absorbed in creating, imagining and bringing their own designs to life through hands-on creativity.
