Medium: Air-Dry Clay | Ages 5–9 Duration: 2 hours 📍 Location: Picasso campus - 451 South Road Bentleigh All materials and art smocks are provided. 🧸 FOR KIDS What if your dessert could smile back at you? In this sweet little clay adventure, you will create your own colorful ice cream or gelato bowl filled with adorable toppings, tiny treats, and cute animal friends hiding between scoops. Maybe your strawberry scoop has bunny ears?… or your mint gelato is guarded by a sleepy blue bear! In this workshop, you will squish, roll, pinch, and decorate your creations with bright sprinkles, swirls of cream, wafer sticks, and juicy strawberries. Every tiny detail turns into part of a magical dessert world that looks almost good enough to eat. 🍦FOR PARENTS This workshop is specially designed for younger children who enjoy tactile, hands-on making and naturally love working with clay. Through rolling, shaping, pressing, and assembling small clay pieces, children gently strengthen fine motor control, hand coordination, and finger dexterity in a calm and engaging way. It would be fun for children to work on clay while encourages patience, focus, and confidence. They become deeply absorbed in the process — choosing colors, solving tiny design problems, and proudly seeing their ideas take shape in three dimensions. Children will be guided by our professional artist teachers step-by-step while still allowing plenty of room for personal imagination and playful experimentation. All materials are provided, including quality air-dry clay and art smocks, so children can fully relax and enjoy the experience without worrying about mess. This workshop is especially lovely for little artists who already adore clay and a bowl of ice cream.
