He doesn’t just fly. He flies in style. In this workshop, you’ll paint Elijah on real canvas using acrylic paints — learning how to match colours so they feel connected and powerful together. The focus of this session is colour matching and harmony. Children explore how repeating colours within a composition (for example, echoing wing colours in a heart-shaped chest pattern) creates visual balance and cohesion. They experiment with strong contrasts while maintaining unity across the canvas. Painting dinosaurs provides a powerful entry point for many children — particularly those who may not initially identify as “art kids” but are passionate about prehistoric creatures. The subject acts as a bridge between interest and skill-building. Our previous dinosaur painting workshop sold out quickly, and this session is expected to fill fast again. Held at our Picasso Campus in Bentleigh (South Road), this workshop is perfect for young artists who love both adventure and expressive painting.
