Does it live on top of a volcano made of marshmallows? In this special workshop, you'll invent your very own Pokémon character and design a professional-looking trading card around it. You'll choose its name, powers, special attacks, strengths and even create the artwork that brings it to life. Using bright markers and lots of imagination, you'll become both the artist and the creator. The best part? Nobody else in the world will have the same card as you. Because this Pokémon belongs to you. 👨‍👩‍👧 FOR PARENTS For many children, collecting Pokémon cards is exciting. Creating one is even better. This special holiday workshop encourages children to move beyond collecting and into creating. Students will invent their own characters, develop special abilities, build a visual identity and bring their ideas to life through drawing and storytelling. The process naturally develops creativity, narrative thinking, problem-solving and confidence while still feeling completely fun. Led by the wonderful Esther Cheng, this workshop is particularly appealing to children who love Pokémon, fantasy worlds, drawing characters and sharing imaginative ideas with others. All materials are provided, including markers, paper and art smocks. Children simply arrive ready to create. If your child loves Pokémon, this workshop turns them from collector into creator.
