The water catches streaks of gold, the cliffs glow at their edges, and the sky shifts through soft pink, violet and turquoise. Everything feels quiet, but the colour is full of energy. In this workshop, you’ll create your own coastal sunrise using oil paint on canvas. Y ou’ll explore how warm and cool colours work together, how light changes the mood of a landscape, and how bold brushstrokes can make water and sky feel alive. Rather than copying every detail, you’ll learn to notice the most important parts: where the light falls, which colours stand out, and how to create atmosphere. Your painting can feel peaceful, dramatic or dreamlike, depending on the choices you make.
