👾🖍️ Big Monster Mash-up! Illustration & Game Design | Ages 9–14 Duration: 3 hours 📍Picasso campus - 451 South Road Bentleigh All materials and art smocks are provided. 🎨 FOR KIDS Imagine opening a sketchbook and discovering a strange creature staring back at you? not dangerous, not scary… just completely unexpected. Maybe it has giant glassy eyes, tiny wings, striped legs and a crooked grin. Maybe it belongs inside a video game world no one has invented yet. In this illustration and character design workshop, you will create your own original monster characters that may look chaotic and funny by experimenting with shape, expression, colour and visual storytelling. 🎨 FOR PARENTS Big Monster Mash-up! is designed for 9 -14 years old who are ready to strengthen their creative thinking through illustration, experimentation and open-ended design challenges. Students develop problem-solving skills, visual planning and independent thinking while also building confidence in expressing ideas that feel original to them. Workshops like this help older children provide a valuable balance between structure and creative freedom while being guided by our thoughtful professional artist teachers. All materials are provided, including art smocks, so students can comfortably immerse themselves in the process without worrying about setup or mess. This workshop offers engaging hours where students are genuinely absorbed in creative exploration rather than simply filling time while parents enjoy a moment to rest, recharge or focus on other things peacefully. Part of our Illustration Workshop Series with Connah Brecon, this session is especially suited to students who love drawing, inventing characters and thinking imaginatively beyond the ordinary. Sometimes one strange little creature is all it takes to unlock an entirely new world of ideas.
