"White Cloud & Yellow Suns"- Oil Painting Workshop Ages 9-14 years 📍 VanGogh Campus — 64 Rosstown Road, Carnegie ⏰ 20 January 2:00-5:00 pm FOR KIDS Imagine a fluffy white dog — soft as a cloud and bright as a summer day — sitting proudly in a field of huge, glowing sunflowers. In this workshop, you’ll paint our adorable “White Cloud,” capturing the sunlight on his fur, the golden petals around him, and the peaceful, happy mood of a warm afternoon. You’ll learn how to build soft textures, blend sunshine tones, and paint petals that look like they’re glowing right off the canvas! FOR PARENTS This workshop introduces young artists to building light-filled compositions using oil paints. We’ll explore soft fur texture, warm–cool colour balance, and background layering to create depth in a floral setting. Students develop patience, brush control, and observational skills as they bring their cheerful dog portrait to life.
