We’ll cut, layer, curl, and glue colourful pieces of paper to make the waves feel wobbly, the sunset feel warm, and the whale feel like it’s really in motion. Artists use layering to make pictures look alive — and today, you’ll learn how to do it just like the illustrators who make your favourite picture books! FOR PARENTS This workshop is perfect for younger artists who love bright colours, storytelling, and hands-on making. Children will learn safe paper-cutting skills, layering techniques, and how to build depth using simple shapes.
