In this workshop, you’ll paint a purple seascape, a quiet boat drifting toward the glowing horizon, and a sky filled with soft pinks, warm oranges, and magical violets. You’ll learn how to blend sunsets so they melt like sorbet and how to create shimmering light dancing on the sea. By the end, your canvas will feel like a little doorway into the calmest, dreamiest evening. FOR PARENTS This oil-painting session focuses on atmospheric colour work — blending, subtle gradients, and creating depth through warm–cool contrasts. Seascapes are wonderful for young artists: they encourage emotional expression, careful observation, and an understanding of light sources. Students will leave with a peaceful, beautifully layered artwork and a deeper grasp of tonal transitions.
