In this workshop, we’ll use painted paper to create whimsical bugs and butterflies — creatures that don’t exist anywhere else except in your imagination. Artists like Eric Carle created entire picture books using painted-paper collages, turning simple shapes into magical characters. Today, you get to do the same! Bright wings, silly antennae, patterned shells — let’s bring a colourful garden of new creatures to life. FOR PARENTS This workshop blends creativity with fine-motor development as students explore painted paper, mixed media, and simple illustration techniques.
