In this workshop, you’ll learn how to use warm soapy water and gentle hands to shape colourful wool into blooming flowers and fluttering butterflies. 🧼💧💐 Then, we’ll turn your creations into lovely hairclips, headbands, or brooches—perfect to wear or gift! Did you know? The process we’ll use is called *wet felting*, and it’s one of the oldest textile techniques in the world. You’ll feel like a little fairy crafting petals and wings from clouds! For Parents: This gentle introduction to wet felting is all about texture, colour, and imaginative design. Children will explore sensory materials and learn how natural wool fibres bond together through motion and moisture. As they create wearable art—like brooches, headbands, or clips—they’ll also develop fine motor skills, patience, and creative confidence. It’s a calm, hands-on workshop that encourages focus while celebrating nature, beauty, and self-expression. Great workshop even for the smallest kids. No needles required.
